WHAT OUR GUESTS HAD TO SAY

“Everything surpassed every expectation we had”

How can words do justice to the incredible adventures we experienced at the various lodges at Under African Skies? Magical, mystical, energizing! From the permanent waters at Nxamaseri to the thrilling gallops on horseback at Kujwana Delta Camp. It is very hard to beat the sound of hooves on the African earth, wind in your hair and wild animals in your gaze. The insane predator sightings at Mokolwane Film Camp were a big highlight and what a joy it was to add layers of depth to these sightings by learning about the individual animal’s stories from the friendly film crew who are permanently based at this camp. Thank you to the rangers and the ever smiling staff for putting together the trip of a lifetime we will never forget. Africa has totally stolen our hearts.

“Enchanted with Africa’s charm and wonder”

We weren’t sure what to expect from Africa. Our friends had raved about their safari trip with Under African Skies so we took the leap of faith and booked. To say our trip was an utter joy is a complete understatement. Not only did we have the awesome privilege of seeing Africa’s wildlife up close from vehicles but also on foot, in a Mokoro (dug-out canoe), from motor boats and on horseback too! There was never a dull moment with the incredible variety of experiences on offer. We also visited the ancient, historical site of the San Tribe at the sacred Tsodolio Hills. Highlights for me were the wildlife, the calm simplicity of fishing whilst simultaneously birding and sipping on a gin and tonic. The staff ran circles around us, always eager to please, seeing to our every whim. What a trip!

“Blown away with the full experience”

Thank you so much to the committed team at Under African Skies. My family and I are avid safari goers. It’s our favourite place on earth. So we know a good thing when we experience it. The whole family, including our kids, aged 6 and 8, simply adored staying at the lodges at Under African Skies. For the last couple of years, the price of safaris in the Okavango Delta made us gawk so imagine our surprise when we learned about Under African Skies who were offering authentic African experiences at a fraction of the price other lodges charge. I can confidently say that we were blown away at the full experience: the landscape, the staff, the wildlife, the accommodation and the food. I am proud to have travelled with a company that has such a heart for conservation and giving back.
