Take to the waters where hippos are nature’s only speed bumps

The Okavango Delta forms a maze of lagoons, channels and streams as the Okavango River empties out after a 1200km journey from the Angolan highlands into the dry, barren earth of the Kalahari. In contrast to the surrounding region, the Delta is a lush oasis, teeming with life. One of the many fun ways of exploring the Delta is to glide through it on a mokoro, and in deeper water for guests to enjoy a safari from a totally different perspective: a motor boat. Watch as hippo’s exert their dominance and thrash through the muddy water, enjoy elephants splashing about on their daily swim, marvel at incredible bird life and learn about the unique vegetation indigenous to the deeper lagoons and rivers.
